Feedback Submission Terms

Effective date: August 28, 2026

Applies to submissions made via: (a) the Feedback portal in this app, (b) a link on a participating company's website, and (c) internal employee channels (e.g., SSO).

1) Definitions

• "Platform" means [Your Company / App Name] and its affiliates.
• "Receiving Organization" means the company selected to receive your Feedback.
• "Feedback" means any ideas, comments, suggestions, feature requests, reports, text, images, code snippets, or other content you submit.

2) Do not include confidential or sensitive information

Do not submit trade secrets, credentials, health information, financial account numbers, government IDs, or other sensitive personal data about yourself or others. Submissions are treated as non‑confidential.

3) Non‑confidentiality

All Feedback is deemed non‑confidential and non‑proprietary, regardless of any legend or statement to the contrary accompanying the submission.

4) No License to use your Feedback

You grant the Platform and the Receiving Organization (and each of their affiliates, service providers, successors, and assigns) a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, fully paid‑up, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, host, store, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, disclose, distribute, display, perform, and otherwise exploit the Feedback for any purpose (including commercial purposes), without notice or obligation to you.

We are not claiming ownership of your underlying IP; you are granting a broad license to use the Feedback.

5) No compensation; no obligation

You understand and agree that:• No compensation: You will not receive payment, credit, or any other consideration for your Feedback. • No attribution: We have no obligation to attribute the Feedback to you. • No duty to follow up: We may review, use, or ignore Feedback in our sole discretion and have no obligation to provide updates or responses.

6) Similar or pre‑existing ideas

We may already be developing, have developed, or receive from others ideas or materials similar or identical to your Feedback. You agree that submission does not limit our freedom to use such ideas or materials.

7) Your representations

You represent and warrant that:

• The Feedback is your original content, or you otherwise have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it and to grant the license above.
• Your submission does not infringe any third‑party rights (including IP, privacy, or publicity rights) and does not include sensitive personal data about others without their consent.
• Your submission complies with applicable laws and our Acceptable Use/Community Guidelines (no unlawful, harassing, hateful, or malicious content; no malware; no spam).

8) Waiver of certain claims; moral rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you waive and agree not to assert any claims against the Platform, the Receiving Organization, and their affiliates arising from or related to the use of the Feedback, including claims based on intellectual property rights, moral rights (e.g., rights of attribution or integrity), or similar theories.

9) Personal data & privacy

If you include personal data, it will be processed in accordance with the applicable Privacy Notice for this submission flow:
• Platform submissions: [link to Platform Privacy Notice]
• Receiving Organization website link: [link to Org Privacy Notice]
• Internal employee channel: [link to Employer/Org Privacy Notice]

Providing contact information is optional; if you provide it, you consent to being contacted about your Feedback. (We still have no obligation to respond.)

10) Moderation and retention

We may edit, refuse, or remove Feedback, and we may retain it as permitted by law and our policies (e.g., for product improvement, safety, audit, and compliance).

11) No conflict with protected rights (important for employees)

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit rights you may have under applicable law to make protected disclosures (e.g., whistleblowing), to discuss terms and conditions of employment, or to communicate with regulators or law enforcement.

12) Governing terms

These terms supplement the Platform Terms of Use and any Receiving Organization terms referenced where you submit Feedback. If there is a conflict, the more specific terms for the submission channel control.

Optional Clauses (toggle based on your risk posture)

A. Indemnity (more protective, higher friction):
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Platform, the Receiving Organization, and their affiliates from any third‑party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your Feedback or your breach of these terms.
B. Age gate
You represent that you are at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), or you have verifiable parental consent.
C. Public display notice (if you plan to show feedback publicly)
Submitted Feedback (and your display name, if provided) may be visible publicly to other users and to the Receiving Organization.
D. Deletion requests
You may request deletion of your Feedback as described in the applicable Privacy Notice. This does not affect the license already granted or our rights in any derivative works created from your Feedback.
